This is a woodland park without facilities that would suit self-reliant bushwalkers. It includes Timbarra Lookout and gives access to nearby Basket Swamp Falls and the Woollool Woolloolni Aboriginal Place.
Basket Swamp is located 14 kilometres north-east of Tenterfield off the Mount Lindesay Road (partly unpaved), and is recommended for 4WD access.
Boonoo State Forest, which has a picnic and camping area with tables and toilet, is directly north.
Here you will find basic toilets, picnic tables and wood fireplaces.
