Milton Showground

Show Ground - New South Wales

Milton Showground Camping area is a great spot for overnight or longer, with water and power, hot showers and toilets.

It has four designated camping areas within the ground, signposted on power boxes.

There is a public toilet/shower block underneath the lower Pavilion as you enter the ground. There is also a public toilet block without showers on the eastern side of the showground, but camping is not permitted on the eastern side.

The dump point is located below the Croquet Lawn.

Dogs are permitted but must be under control at all times.

The maximum number of nights permitted for individual stay is 50 in any 12 month period, with a limit of 28 consecutive nights, with a break of at least 14 days before returning.

Milton Showground is situated in the quiet area of town with lovely views across farmland, close to town centre with restaurants, shops and galleries.

Not a bad spot. Showers hot but basic. Careful which turn off Princess Highway you take if you have a big rig as some streets have a Three (3) Ton limit. Croobyar Rd best entry road. Explore the Village Green shops in town for food coffee & crafts - interesting development ... even a place for Cosmetic Tatoos. Can get busy they said if a local event is on. Croquet Club at the entrance.

Good camp area for all size rigs, quiet, town is great. Good toilets, good showers, however the cleaning and maintenance of showers need attention. $25/night power & water.

A quiet spot for a stop over. Plenty of level ground. Power and water available as well as a dump point. Toilets are accessible at all times but you need to obtain the access code for the showers from the fee collector who comes around to collect. There are two showers each for male and female. These facilities are in a very small room with no ventilation or natural light. Not good but adequate. Pricing is more expensive than most show grounds. Would return if I was in the area and needed to overnight.

Quiet green location with reasonable views, can be breezy, caretaker collects fees of an evening.

The showground offers a lovely rural setting. It is quiet with fairly level grassy sites suitable for tents caravans motor homes & big rigs. Amenities block has hot showers & flushing toilets. The showers are accessed by a security code (provided by caretaker). We didn't use them so can't comment but did notice they have only curtains for privacy. Power & water are available. A dumpsite is located near the entrance to the showground. About 1.3km from the Princes Highway it is well located for short walks into town with plenty of restaurants cafes etc.. At $20 per night it is excellent value. We will definitely stay here again.
