This camping area is very large. The area is grassy and has plenty of trees for shade. There is a maximum stay of 72 hours. Self-contained vehicles only.
There is a good walking/cycling/horse riding track here - the Ballarat to Skipton Rail Trail (53km).
Payment of fees is made via donation. You will need to call the telephone number located on the sign to register your stay. They will give you an access code to use the showers. There is an area that can be utilised for a "happy hour" campfire with wood supplied.
Here you will find toilets, showers, BBQ's, fireplace and dogs are allowed.

This is a lovely place to stop. Just ring one of the numbers on the main building for shower code. Donations at the post office opposite grocery store.....a good place to pick up a few supplies. No power. No generators after 9:30pm.

A lovely camp, the volunteers take care of the grounds.
Camp kitchen, water taps, bins, toilets and the showers have reopened.
We were happy to donate for such a good spot

Great for a couple of days, close to Ballarat.
Can leave donation at servo as well as post office, easier Parking at servo.
Please donate so they keep it open for us travellers.
Only disadvantage is they are no free dump points around Ballarat.

Perfect spot. Not sure if I found the "old farts" sign at the front attractive or off putting. Plenty of space for everyone in a garden setting. There does seem to be a dump, rubbish bins, water. Thank you volunteers. Well worth a donation.
