This free overnight rest area is set off the highway. It is a very large drive through bitumen layout. It has plenty of shade from the surrounding trees. They also act as a noise barrier as well.
Here you will find toilets with disabled access, picnic tables and dogs are permitted.

Stayed here overnight with 5 other vans spread along the area, lots of room. Only one truck came in overnight and stopped. Two lots of toilets eastern end better for overnight, as western end has a special night light from headlights reflecting from installed mirrors so is used by any passing traffic waning to use facilities during the night. Plenty of room for any size rig and if you want to pull more into the bushes. Toilets quite usable and plenty of picnic tables, but water to toilets was empty when we were there. We passed a good night here.

Large rest area with toilets at each end. Top section is for trucks so leave it free for them.
