Free bush camping is available adjacent to the Noccundra Waterhole on the Wilson River Reserve at Noccundra. The Noccundra Waterhole is a great bird watching and fishing spot, and an ideal camping area. 

Public Toilet and Shower facilities are provided adjacent to the Noccundra Hotel with two (2) showers, and five (5) toilets for females, and two (2) showers, and two (2) toilets for males. The Facilities and the Hotel are located a short distance from the Bush Camp site. 

The Noccundra Hotel is owned by Nockatunga Station, and today it serves as a meeting place for locals, families, stockmen, and travellers alike, all of whom enjoy the unsophisticated atmosphere of this remote and isolated Pub.

The Hotel is a popular rest stop or overnight stay for visitors driving to the “Dig Tree”, Innamincka, Cameron Corner, Thargomindah, and all points in between. 

The Noccundra Hotel offers:

Good camping area, up high on bank next to Wilson Creek. Someone has been in there when it has been muddy though! Quite a few caravans and campers when we were there. Toilets are a bit of a long walk, definitely not for the faint hearted of a night time, hence toilet paper in the bushes (some women or kids are so dirty, take you paper back with you and either bin it or burn it!) Got stung 20 bucks for a can of Carlton draught and a Scotch and soda at the pub!! Showers really good, just a donation at the pub goes to the RFDS

Camping down by the river. Toilets and hot showers available next to the pub for a donation to RFDS. $7.50 for a XXXX stubby. Pub is air conditioned.

Nice camp sites on the river. Depends how far up or down the river you camp as to how far to the toilets/showers. Showers good and hot - more than happy to give a donation to the RFDS. Great pub, pricing reasonable considering how remote they are.
