Judds Lagoon

Free Camping - Queensland

Just five kilometres south-east of Yuleba is scenic Judd’s Lagoon which features some magnificent flora and fauna. The locals also know it as a good fishing spot.

This scenic lagoon and wetlands provide a tranquil natural backdrop for visitors wishing to bush camp and enjoy watching the amazing birdlife. This is a lovely spot to camp, huge grassy areas, park where you want!

Here you will find toilets with disabled access and bush shower, picnic tables, BBQ's and pets are allowed.

Approximately 3 klms off Warrego Hwy. Turn off on lhs just before Yuleba heading towards Roma. Large open area with plenty of good shade trees. Caution needed if parking under big gums. Some fire pits.

Fantastic no time limited free camp. Beautiful spot with loads of bird life. Bins on site and composting loo (getting a bit smelly tho). A few flies and lagoon suffering with lack of water - still some there though. Definitely worth the stop.

Excellent camp. Mostly Flat spots. Plenty space for up to 20 rigs. Was 6 - only 1 van, rest RVers. Composting toilet. Can bring in and use firewood. Was an honour system to pay for bagged timber in End May 2016. Great bird life. Nice timbered area and we did some walking along the lagoons.

There were about 20 of us here last night mostly C'vans. This is a great spot for overnight or a few days, an added bonus is bagged firewood an enterprising local provides @ $6 per bag via honesty system.

Great spot for a few days, composting loo available plenty of room and the $6 firewood is still available.
