Urana Aquatic Centre Caravan Park

The Urana Caravan Park is situated on the shores of the picturesque Urana Aquatic Centre and has a reputation for friendly, courteous staff and clean, well appointed and easily accessible facilities.

Set in well maintained grounds, the Urana Caravan Park has a AAA Tourism Three-Star rating and features 21 powered, waterfront caravan and camping sites as well as a number of comfortable four to six berth on site caravans.

Recent improvements in the Park have been the installation of a black water waste dump point which is available for use by park guests and also the opening of two new luxury six berth cabins in the Park as part of the ongoing upgrade program by Urana Shire Council.

Designed to cater to the needs of the increasing number of travelers to Urana Shire, the new cabins take advantage of the magnificent views over the Urana Aquatic Centre lake and compliment the on-site caravans already available in the park.

Many of the visitor surveys to the park mention the amazing birdlife in the adjoining Aquatic Centre reserve and guests take advantage of the 4 kilometre walking track. The track contains numerous outdoor exercise stations for the more active.

Came across Urana by chance and happily stayed for 3 nights at the Aquatic Park (old town supply dam) right near the water. Ron looked after us very well. Amenities were clean and tidy. Lots of watersports to be had including fishing. Water looks like tea because of the tannins but was lovely to swim in. The mozzies were pretty feral, bring lots of repellent. Urana as a township was lovely, we were welcomed with open arms.

This is a great park extremely friendly hosts and scones delivered for afternoon tea if you want some. Located on the lake so quite a few sites are waterfront and skiing is a pastime. Mostly lovely grassed sites and would highly recommend this park. I will be staying again if I am in the area.

Great little spot,stayed 3 night great weather right on Urana dam all amenities spotless great fire pit and camp kitchen will definitely be back. Note if you don’t like the sound of power boats water as water skiing is popular than you need to avoid if want quietness. Great for canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming

Well kept park spotless facilities with grass sites power & water. Dump point, good laundry. Everything is beautiful including the scones jam & cream for afternoon tea after arriving. Also great rates.

Well what can I say beautiful well kept spot. Water, Power, Showers, Camp Kitchen, Dump Point, Pet Friendly, Laundry all spotless. Scones, Jam and Cream on arrival. Seniors Discount given. Run by a lovely young couple. Lovely Green Grass. And they clean your windscreen before you leave.
