Cummins Caravan & Cabin Park - SA RVFT

Caravan Park - South Australia

Please note: entrance is on Roe Street

The Cummins Caravan & Cabin Park is a small, yet peaceful park located centrally on the Lower Eyre Peninsula, in the thriving township of Cummins, South Australia. As many visitors have stated it is the perfect place to base yourself for exploring the Eyre Peninsula.

Created in 2000 by a group of enthusiastic local volunteers, this Park is another example of the great community spirit that Cummins is known for. Located on Council land at the southern end of the township, it hosts 2 self contained cabins, 8 powered sites, 4 non-powered sites and easily accommodates recreational vehicles.

The added bonus to the very affordable rates is the free use of laundry facilities, free BBQ (located under shelter) and grassed surrounds.

An easy walk down the street to the local shopping area will take you past the local Railway Triangle Park. This is home to some amazing mosaic creations, local history, public toilets, children's playground & free BBQ's.

All bookings are made via the Cummins Takeaway & Deli located on Bruce Terrace.

Outstanding little community run park. 8 powered sites and a similar number of unpowered sites with I believe 4 cabins. Spotless ablutions block and free laundry facilities. Also close to town and with grass under your feet. All this appears to have been achieved with limited and voluntary means. Some much more affluent towns should go to Cummins to see how it should be done.

This site is currently undergoing change. I went to stay 30/10/18 and it was $20.00

Ideal small park to stay at. Easy walk into shopping strip. Book in at the Deli with helpful friendly staff. Short walk to Showgrounds to give your dog a good run.
