This large grassy overnight rest area is located 10km north of Glen Innes. Plenty of shade is provided here and being located 50 metres off the highway, minimal noise will disturb you at night time.
Here you will find a drop toilet, covered picnic table, BBQ and pets are allowed.

Pleasant site if down the rear of the camp ground as you have view of creek and are away from the highway a bit. Good for an overnighter.

A convenient overnighter between Brisbane and Tamworth. Toilet a bit smelly and no paper. Has been mowed not long ago but grass is getting long again. Bins and fireplaces provided. Picnic tables rather run down. Nice views and fishing in the creek.

Nice rest area back off the highway so it’s quiet. Right on the creek in which you can fish for trout.
Big rig fitted in easily. Lovely trees.

Very nice place for stopover. Large grassy area. There is a toilet but used our own. Lovely views. Far enough off road to keep noise away. One of the better rest areas

Great little stopover for the night. Drop toilet has been vandalised as the door is half ripped off. The grass has just been mowed. In wet weather some areas would be a bit boggy. Far enough off the highway-very little road noise. Shame there is no donation box to contribute to help maintain this area.
