This is a fantastic community run travellers rest. A local caretaker will come to you to collect fees. They have recently lifted the 7 night restriction however, they do not offer permanent or long term sites.
There are 8 large grassy powered sites here avail at $15 per night (as at Nov 2019). It is close the local shops, hotel, cafe and butchers. For the kids, they also offer a playground and they installed an RV dump point as well.
Facilities include toilets, showers, dump point, water, BBQ, picnic tables and dogs are permitted.
Excellent site and friendly, very helpful caretaker. Showed currently still closed but toilets are open and sites available

LOVE Lockington and their community travellers rest. Highly recommend. Still on $15 per night, powered, water and showers (Don't forget to get the key).
Pub is friendly and really good meals, typical schnitty but also homemade gnocchi, seafood risotto etc.
Diesel was cheaper than Echuca and we could get our big rig in and out of the petrol station.
The business centre also has a 24hr laundromat, only $4 per load, $1 per 8min on the driers.
Bird life is wonderful, baby maggies with dad standing in watch along with a massive gang of Major Mitchell's.
Only 20-30mins out of Echuca

This location turned out to be the very best of surprises I probably should give it a 5, but I would not like to over state it. To be awaken at five in the morning by the smell of fresh bread baking when totally unexpected was the first surprise ( the bakery is in the supermarket ) this was equalled by the hospitality at the country pub across the road and the prize winning butcher shop. This SMALL town is a good reason to get of the highway and SUPPORT RV FRIENDLY TOWNS. The lady who comes around (and lives across the road) will be around to collect your fee(s) $15 which go toward improvements as this is totally a community project.

We came here on the recommendation of a friend and immediately fell in love with the place. Great meal at Parm & Pot Thursday at the pub, Coffee at Maria's was excellent although the assurance that the caramel slice was low calorie was somehow a bit of a porky. Unfortunately the Award Winning Butcher shop has closed. Friendly locals just adds to the experience.
