Enjoy free camping along the Darr River. With tracks on both sides of the highway, there is plenty of sites to choose from. Good spot for fishing and also for yabbies. Shade is available. There are no facilities.

Great spot 30 k or so before Longreach. Away from the ever increasing madness and crowd that is Longreach now. Dirt sites. Wonderful sunsets with water reflections and a cheeky windmill in a brilliant sky. Flat areas all along river. Self contained - no amenities. No highway noise. Bonus.

Typical bush camping along the banks of the Darr River, both sides of the road way on the eastern bank. This is typical black soil country and would recommend extreme caution in the wet weather.
