Litchfield Safari Camp is located just outside the western entry to the National Park, 5km from Wangi Falls. We are the closest camp to all the attractions in the park – the perfect base for touring the park and its attractions at any time of the year.

Litchfield Safari Camp is a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing and adventuring. Set in natural bushland, the camping areas and caravan sites are spacious, shady and fully grassed. The facilities are immaculate and well maintained.

In just a few minutes you can drive to an amazing range of waterfalls and swimming holes created as the water plunges from the escarpment that runs through Litchfield National Park. Take in the shady rainforest walks and stunning escarpment views. See the incredible fields of magnetic termite mounds, or visit the awesome rock formations of the Lost City (4WD only). Or take an aerial sightseeing flight.

Litchfield Safari Camp offers a range of camping options including powered or non-powered sites for caravans, motorhomes or campers and a coach camping area.

Excellent budget and backpacker accommodation is available.

If you wanted to spend two days and one night in Litchfield and stay on bitumen, this place is conveniently located. One day in for a few hours soaking up the delights of Wangi Falls. Next day site seeing and swimming at Buley Rockhole and Florence Falls. Whilst the sites are spacious, flat and grassed that is where the good news ends. The facilities were dirty and decrepit. At $40 for a powered site for two adults and $30 for an unpowered, this place is grossly overpriced.
