This free overnight rest area is located on the bank of the river. It is a large open grassy area with trees providing some shade.
Here you will find toilets, picnic tables and dogs are permitted.

A flat grass area which was badly in need of being mowed.
Next to a very quiet Omeo Hwy with no traffic at night as the road is very steep and winding in parts and the locals say it can be dangerous at night due to low cloud at night and icy road during Winter.
