The Reef Caravan Park

Caravan Park - Queensland

Favourite

A great friendly park set on 40 acres of walking tracks, through natural bushland. The park is situated just 5 minutes out of Agnes Water Shops and is close to the Agnes Water Golf course.

Two national parks surround this caravan park. The park carters for both camping and caravan slabs and powered and unpowered sites.

The caravan park provides guests with many facilities. Situated in a peaceful bushland setting only minutes away from shopping and pristine beaches, there is never a shortage of things to do and see.

The caravan park has a beautiful clear pool for those hot summer days or a leisurely afternoon swim, right next to the camp kitchen that has a gas BBQ, table and chairs and a sink. The amenities block is modern with ladies and gents toilets and showers, and contains the laundry with all sites just a short walking distance away. The caravan park also boasts excellent drinking water.

Native animals are a frequent sight with plenty of kangaroos, and the quiet natural surroundings ensure you’ll have a relaxing holiday in one of Queensland’s most beautiful holiday towns.

Spent 3 nights here through a weather bomb. Rain closed all roads but this CP easily coped with the amount of rain and the rising water levels. The facilities were kept immaculately clean and fresh by the friendly owners. Enjoyed the onsite walking tracks and swimming pool too. Highly recommend.

We stayed at The Reef for four nights wit 11 Jayco motorhomes and throughly enjoyed our stay. Friday night fish and chip entertainment fantastic thanks Lee for your hospitality camp fires and all. Spent $4008.00 during our time. Don’t forget the Getaway garden cafe for a good lunch date.

Stayed here for 3 nights in our 9 metre 5th wheeler on one of the large powered sites. Quiet bush style park with pit fires allowed between March and November and a communal fire pit lit every afternoon at 5.30 pm during this time. Forgot your fire pit or need some firewood? No problem as the office hires fire pits for just $10.00 per stay and wood is available for sale. Office also sells milk cool drinks ice creams ice and gas refills are available onsite. Amenities block is a little dated but spotlessly clean and the rest of the park is well maintained. Great bush walking track at the rear of the park where you can visit Gnomie Land. Only downside is that there is currently no dump point and you have to drive to the SES Grounds in 1770 to empty your portable toilet cartridge. 1770 and Agnes Waters are within 10 minutes drive. Would highly recommend to others wanting a quiet retreat and would definitely stay again.
