Thunderbird Park is an amazing wildlife and geological rich oasis stretching over 112 hectares which you can enjoy night and day as it also offers wonderful Mt Tamborine accommodation. Translucent rock pools, inspiring landscapes, towering rainforests and star studded skies all add to the magic of Thunderbird Park. Here you will find the best Tamborine Mountain camping areas and caravan sites which all have their own rock bordered firepits - crates of firewood are available for purchase.
We have a variety of powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites available depending on your requirements.
A rock boarded circular firepit is available at every van and tent site. You can bring your own firewood or alternatively, purchase a crate of firewood from reception for $15 per crate. Please note, when booking your van/tent site online, you can select to pre order wood which will be ready for you at check in.
Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a lead at all times.
Water is not recommended for drinking. BYO drinking water or purchase bottled water from the Terrace Kiosk.
