This is the station’s service centre, first opened in 2003 – fuel, café and road or Old Telegraph Track information – it is open from 6.30am until 7.30pm, and is also easy and spacious camping grounds for those travellers not wanting to leave the main Bamaga Road. Huge station burgers and other hot snacks and cold drinks, including a cold beer (onsite only) are available while you fuel up.
Many new friendships start at the Roadhouse – people wanting to team up with other 4wheeldrivers for a fun couple of days travelling up the OTT, exchange four wheel driving information and photos and videos of the fun times on the Track.
Fuel stop, cafe and camping. Road info start of famous Old Telegraph Track. Last fuel stop between Weipa and Archer and the Tip. Visitors very welcome.
