Nuttbush Retreat

Nuttbush Retreat is located on Pandurra Station homestead just 40km West of Port Augusta, South Australia. We offer all levels of accommodation from camping and caravanning to luxuriously restored Shearers Quarters. Enjoy staying in outback accommodation at a station that produces some of the best wool in South Australia.

Stay a while in the friendly country atmosphere and explore the area.

Relax beside our swimming pool or treat yourself to our outdoor spa. Play eight ball, sit and relax in our recreation room and watch television by the open fire or air-conditioned comfort.

The Nutt family has owned Pandurra Station since July 1st 1895 and has successfully run a sheep and cattle grazing enterprise. Pandurra carries in excess of 20,000 sheep and 150 cattle on an area of some 800 square kilometres.

• Historic Museum – Located in the original shearer’s dining room, we have compiled a museum of artefacts and information showing the hardships endured during the development of this harsh outback country – fee for entry, subject to availability please enquire prior to your visit.

• 4WD tours or other on station activities are currently not available due to the Department of Defences’ compulsory acquisition of the land these activities were conducted on. We hope to develop trails on other parts of our property in the future.
