National Park - New South Wales

Favourite

The natural setting and discrete campsites at Green Patch are ideal for families and small groups. Sites are either standard or large with a choice of drive-in or walk-in.

Amenities include fresh water, toilets, hot-water showers and sheltered barbecues. It is advisable to bring your own personal gas barbecue. Please note that sites are allocated according to tent caravan size and the number of vehicles in the booking.

All campsites are unpowered. Campsites should be booked in advance by calling 02 4443 0977 or emailing booderee.mail@environment.gov.au. Camping at Booderee is very popular during peak periods and sites can be fully booked months in advance.

Most sites are consistently damp and in shade.  There are walk-in sites as well as drive in sites.  A short walk to the beautiful beach is what makes this place worthwhile.

This is a beautiful camping area with designated sites. There are two main camp areas (Section D & Section Y) Each site is screened by natural greenery giving each camper seclusion & privacy. It is just a short walk to the beach & there are several walking trails within the park. We camped in Section D where there are two amenities blocks with timed hot showers flushing toilets & a laundry in each. Potable water is readily available throughout the campsite with taps close by to most sites. As it is in natural bushland the ground is mostly sanddirt. Section Y looked equally pleasing. Be sure to take a torch with you when taking a shower as the lights are also timed & unfortunately go out before the shower timer finishes so you end up in the dark. There are no powered sites & there is no power at the amenities. Picnic tables and sheltered bbqs are located throughout the campsite. This park takes bookings via phone & online. We checked in mid week without a booking.
