Doon reserve is a great place to come with your tent, caravan or motorhome. You’ll enjoy great access to the Yarra as well as the beautiful surrounds including mountain views.
With Yarra Junction just minutes away by car and Warburton not too much further there is great access to all you need while you’re at Doon Reserve.

Doon Reserve is a well maintained and reasonably priced location. There is a beautiful little "no camping" reserve within the park which is almost completely surrounded by the fast flowing upper reaches of the Yarra River.
The permanent sites are located away from the casual sites. Our two night stay was pleasant and peaceful. It was just a 20 minute walk to the nearby village of Yarra Junction with its great pub, museum, supermarket and shops.
Several nearby villages lie only a short distance away, including Warburton, a popular tourist destination about 7km away. We used our scooter to visit there but there are walking tracks everywhere and the rail trail.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
