"Where the sun meets the sea"

Coodlie Park is Eyre Peninsula's premier destinations for those who want a holiday with a difference. Set on a large rural property with extensive facilities for visitors, Coodlie Park is located on the coast between Mount Camel Surf Beach and the spectacular Talia Caves (about 50 kilometers west of Elliston).

The surrounding area is one of South Australia's best-kept secrets. While staying with us in a private cottage, budget dorm accommodation or bush camping site, we can arrange personal tours and expeditions featuring the best of local fishing spots, rugged coastlines and adventure sports.

Coodlie Park offers a unique wilderness experience on the property. Guests can enjoy their own private beach, cliff-top walk with outstanding views and Australian wildlife like kangaroos, native birds, emus and wombats.

On your own or accompanied by an experienced and friendly local, you will be able to explore a wide range of destinations—including some special attractions that are not generally available to the public.

Coodlie Park campground has a communal social fire pit [not available in fire ban season -summer months] , camp kitchen with cook top and oven, hot water kitchen sink and two BBQs. Seating for thirty people. Flushing fly-proof bore water toilet. You're encouraged to bring your own water supply for cooking and drinking. Showers are bore water that are eco-friendly using the old bucket system. The camp kitchen and shower block generate their own power supply by using solar panels. Personal camp sites have privacy with your own open fire site and natural bush surroundings. There are no allocated sites, choose your preferred spot! For those who like to swag camp, we have built special purpose swag camp huts.

The camp site is situated at the front of the farm to utilize the taller trees for shelter. Access to Mount Camel beach and Talia Caves is only a five-minute drive. For only $10 per car you can enjoy our peaceful bush camping area.

We also offer facilities for your next regional meeting, conference or family reunion.  The following facilities are available:
  • High speed internet (direct and wireless)
  • Whiteboards (fixed and mobile)
  • DVD/Video television
  • Plasma screen TV
  • Personalised catering packages

Please take care on the roads as this is a semi-remote area with even intermittent CDMA mobile coverage. Wildlife such as kangaroos can be quite prevalent, particularly during dry summer months. Night driving must be undertaken with extreme caution, especially for the inexperienced.
