Deloraine RV Park - TAS RVFT

Great spot to overnight and we’ve done that many times. People who abuse the site make me cross though. Just because you’re staying there does not mean you have exclusive water/dump point rights, nor can park in the tennis courts car park. Mainlanders who use it need to be more mindful of that and the fact that there are still some COVIDSafe safety requirements in place, like not parking on top of people you don’t know.

Located between tennis courts and racecourse. (It is the Lions caravan park that is on the river.) Only $3 pvpn, pre payable at Information Centre, opposite side of town, which is worth a visit. RV Park, large grassy area, a little uneven, in a sunny location. Could be a bit muddy after heavy rain. No facilities as you must be fully self contained. Pleasant walk across footbridge to township.

Great location right on river with grassy sites right in town. Two facility blocks as stretches along riverbank. Trains come by a few times a day but not to bad. Caretaker is in house across the road from entrance area. Spotted platypus just on dusk. Beautiful and relaxing location.
