A welcomed stopover beside glittering sea before caravanning across the Nullarbor Plain, the coastal town of Streaky Bay is one of South Australia's most famous beachside havens. What's to fish? You're spoilt for choice: King George whiting, salmon, flounder and over a dozen other species in the area. What about for families? Kids love boarding down the gigantic white sand dunes at nearby Yanerbie Beach, wading in the lagoon-style rock pool of Granites or seeing Australia's only permanent sea lion colony at Point Labatt. After a full day of casting lines and exploring the Eyre Peninsula, sit by the water and appreciate the absolute peace of this magnificent waterfront holiday park.

Disappointing caravan park. Stayed 2 years ago and it was beautiful. Weeds overgrown in gardens, amenities need attention, untidy sites - ours was not level. $33p/n and not worth it. A lot of information collected on check in with staff not really aware of previous information they could use on database that was available to them. Not a place I would recommend.

Stayed here at Easter 2018 given very small site with nearby vans almost touching, blocked drain, foul smell from drain, water running down gutters, noisy neighbours going until 1am and starting at 6am - apparently they were told to be quiet twice but to no effect. We left after one night and stayed at nearby location for $10 night. Spoke to staff who were rude and uncaring. We have travelled Australia for 6 months and this would be the worst place.

Ideal Park to stay right on the Bay. Perfect walk to the town centre approx. 1km. Is now $33/night for general powered site (23.4.18). Host Wendy very friendly.

This park is lovely and located on the waters edge and is an easy walk to town. Although the sites are large enough it can be a challenge reversing a large van into a site as there is not a lot of space to move your vehicle forward to get a good reversing approach angle. Facilities were clean and well maintained.

Great location. I particularly wanted a beachfront site which was $40.50 with seniors discount. Very tight fit for some people and there were lots. Close to town. However, apparently the new Islands View caravan park just out of town is much better and much cheaper. A bit too far to walk into town though. Bayfunktion is a great, trendy cafe.

This is an attractive park, right on the waterfront of Streaky Bay. Note - the price for prime waterfront sites is now $40 pvpn. It is an easy bike ride into the village for coffee, and there is also a lovely path along the foreshore to a nearby jetty.

This is a gem of caravan parks. Many sites are pure waterfront ($35 pwr Nov 15) non waterfront ($32 pwr Nov 15) are only a walk across the park road to the beach. Friendly welcome. I would recommend booking ahead especially if you fancy a waterfront site.
