Bon Accord Hotel is located on the Barrier Highway on the outskirts of the historic town of Burra in South Australia.

The hotel was built in 1874, and originally provided stabling for horse and trap. 

Large paddocks at the rear of the hotel were for horses to graze. 

In modern times horses have changed to cars and trucks, and use of the paddocks has changed with it. 

The large grounds now give plenty of room for trucks, camper vans etc.

Stayed the last two nights and really enjoyed it. We had top notch meals in the beautiful period dining room and were entertained by a young family, who were dining there, playing many and varied songs on the pianola. The amenities are clean and easily accessible and the owner Tim is very accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again when next through.

4 to 5 stars. the meals are very well made, the staff very helpful. the place has ambiance with a good sense of history. The dining room has a pianola, we stayed an extra 1.5 hrs to play old and modern songs. There is inside dining,pub style, outside tables and beer garden style places to eat.

the spend $20 and stay for free applies to non powered sites. power $25. quite a large area. good pub food. some dishes with an asian influence
