Glen Erin Farmstay

Glen Erin Farmstay features a lovely tranquil spot on a working mango and cattle farm in the Whitsundays Region. Visitors to the farm will find an abundance of shady trees, birdlife and grassy lawns.

There is a resident kangaroo who is usually enjoying a shady tree and waiting for a photo from visitors.

Visitors have the option of renting a room which is suitable for small groups, a couple or solo travellers. There is also powered and unpowered sites for RVs and campers.

In the evenings you are welcome to sit around the campfire, share stories and nibbles as Lyn cooks one of her tasty dampers in the camp oven.

The farm is located just 10km from Brisk Bay, 10km from the iconic Big Mango and is 20mins to Bowen and 1hr to Airlie Beach.

A tranquil place to stay. Beautiful birdlife and layed back atmosphere. Lyn is a great host who is always keen to enjoy the twilight around a campfire with her fabulous campoven damper. There is a pet kangaroo who makes the place feel like a true Aussie farmstay experience. There are cabins with rooms for couples and families as well as a large area for caravaners and campers (both powered and non powered). The camp kitchen has all the general amenities needed. There is also a dump point with easy access for caravans.

stayed 2 nights at Glen Erin farmstay. Lyn is a wonderful friendly welcoming host and her homemade Damper is to die for Happy hour around the campfire with fello travellers swapping stories of our travels. Clean amenities and facilities powered sites on flat mowed grassed areas Thank you Lyn for your hospitality

A very nice place to stay. We’d definitely stay here again. No need for footwear on the grass it’s that well cared for. No eftpos so bring cash. All previous comments are still accurate .

Absolutely loved staying at Glen Erin. Tranquil place with heaps of bird life. Grassy sites powered and non powered. I ended up staying 10 days. Thank you Lyn and Christa for making me feel very welcome. The antics of the sheep, Ivy ( resident work dog) and Tilly ( resident kangaroo) kept me in stitches. Very clean and tidy will definitely be going back.

What a delightful place to stay. Nearly 5k of dirt track to get in, but our 40ft rig managed it. Pet kangaroo and damper around the campfire every evening. Very welcoming hosts. Large grassy sites, clean amenities and only $25 a night
