If you love to simply pitch a tent and ‘rough it’ for a weekend, or you prefer the comfort of a powered site – it’s all here at Gordon Country. Enjoy Goomburra Valley’s beautiful natural landscapes, from lush rainforest to bush, large grassy plains, and pristine, freshwater creeks.
If you don’t have a 4WD or you require the convenience of facilities close by, we suggest The Cottage Site that has 22 powered sites. Look out for the first lot of camping signs that are approximately half a kilometer down the gravel road. The Black Cockatoo Site is a further kilometre down which is also a great option if you have a conventional car.
If however, you really want to get away from other guests, and have a porta pottie, we suggest Bull Hole, Banshee Junction, the Festival Site or Bowerbird. These are all well marked and on the creek and easily accessible even if you don’t have a car suitable for going off road.
Campsites which offer facilities include:
- Cottage Camp Site – hot showers and toilets plus disabled shower and toilet. Our site office and Shop is also located here.
- Banshee Valley (first flat)- septic toilet block
- Black Cockatoo – hot showers and toilets
- Festival Site – septic toilet block.
