Glendinning Campground - Rocklands Reservoir

Free Camping - Victoria

This free camping area is located on the banks of the Rocklands Reservoir. It is a popular place for boating, swimming on the little beach, fishing, canoeing, walking and just plain relaxing.

The camping area is very large and is mostly grassy with plenty of shade available. There are fire pits here so please BYO firewood.

Here you will find toilets, disabled access, picnic tables, fireplaces and dogs are permitted. Please make sure you BYO drinking water.
Proper bush camp with drop toilets near the entrance of the camp. This place is quite big therefore bringing a portable loo is a better solution. During school holidays quite a few bogans mistake this place for a nightclub pumping music from their cars forgetting that no one else likes their choice of music. Outside school holidays, this camp is a lovely spot for families offering peaceful camping in nature. The lake has mostly carp in it but swimming is always a good activity here. Don’t drive near the lake as you can get bogged easily. In some places you will find broken glass that can ruin your experience. There are many tracks around the lake that you can visit and the dam offers a great view with some water crossings nearby.
