Beautiful reserve for free camping. Keep an eye out for the entry as it is not very well sign posted & can be easily missed. There is a west & an east entry to the reserve so if you miss the first one you can use the second one. Plenty of space for all size rigs. Peaceful & picturesque. We were able to park up very close to the lakes edge for great views. A dirt track runs around the reserve so you can find a secluded spot if preferred. The flattest area is at the entry on the east side. Despite recent rain the ground was not boggy (except for a short section right at the entry on the east side) & there were several grassy areas available. There are no facilities here so you need to be self contained. Would definitely stay here again.
Free camping only 7 Klms from Mulwala Clubs and CBD. No facilities. Plenty of room for big rigs. Dog's & cats allowed. Phone, Wifi, & TV. Right on Lake Mulwala Flat area. Good fishing, Boating & walking tracks.
This is a great spot to get away from it all. There is a loop roadtrack about 1klm long right through the reserve with views across the lake and it is possible to camp just about anywhere along that track. The most popular area is probably the eastern end but more seclusion in other parts. Lots of bird life plenty of trees for shade if required.
