Yarramalong is a 160 acre property nestled in a beautiful scenic rim valley. It is surrounded by some of Australia's most unspoilt vistas.
Yarramalong comprises of two remarkable camping grounds: The Main, and The Island. Each camp grounds consists of exclusive camp sites, private fireplaces, and shady trees within the natural surrounds which make Yarramalong the perfect camping retreat. With so many available camp sites there is no overcrowding.
Enjoy the romance of an open camp fire while you toast marshmallows or make damper. You can bring your own firewood, or purchase some local timber from Yarramalong. Due to the natural environment we request that you do not attempt to cut branches from our living trees. Although fossicking for kindling and smaller, fallen branches can be part of the fun of the open camp fire.
Facilities:
AMENITIES: Yarramalong has Male and Female amenities blocks complete with 8 hot showers (no charge) and 8 septic toilets. Privacy is ensured in these blocks and there are also wash tubs available for your use.
BBQS: We have two gas barbeques available for your use if you don't wish to cook over the open fire. In eating shelters, these are perfect for families or group cook-ups.
CABIN: An 8 berth cabin is available for those who prefer not to 'rough it' in the great outdoors. Comprises of a double bed, and 6 singles it is a fully self-contained cabin with stove, fridge, cooking facilities and linen. Bookings are essential for the cabin.
KIOSK: All your basics are available for sale from our kiosk. Many people forget the most basic of items e.g. milk, bread, drinks, band-aids, matches, tea and spray.
The flourishing township of Aratula - only minutes from Yarramalong - has the conveniences of a bakery, fresh fruit and produce, service station and local Pub.

This campsite is at Yarramalong which is a horse stud. The actual campsites are a 2 kilometre drive along a rough dirt road on the Yarramalong Estate. It fronts onto Reynolds Creek at the base of the imposing Mt Edwards. Facilities are old and in need of a good scrub, but hot showers are included in the price $12 pppn. There are BBQ’s and fire pits and potable rain water. You can hike the path along Reynolds Creek to Moogerah Dam, fish in the creek, swim and kayak. Kiosk open weekends and holidays. Caretaker Chris is a friendly and knowledgeable chap, if you fossick for gemstones or pan for gold he is the person to talk to.
