Point Turton is a peaceful seaside town overlooking the beautiful, calm waters of Hardwicke Bay.

It is very popular as a tourist destination because of its sheltered Bay which allows year round boating, fishing and sailing. As well as being centrally located for those wishing to explore the scenic Innes National Park or the many nearby coastal towns of the Southern Yorke Peninsula.

The Point Turton Caravan Park is uniquely nestled in the disused historic flux quarry and overlooks the jetty and boat ramp.

All cabins are positioned on the absolute seafront with panoramic views over Hardwicke Bay. All Caravan Sites are powered and well sheltered.

Facilities include: toiets, showers, disabled access, BBQ, laundry, WI-FI, kiosk, gas refills and boat ramp.

Loved our stay here. Facilities clean. Came when it was very windy but it’s a lot more sheltered than some other caravan parks. Windy sites have good views and closer to jetty. Great fishing. Good deals available off peak. Very good managers!!

Point Turton Caravan Park is located on the waters edge of Hardwicke Bay overlooking a jetty and a protected boat ramp. Some sites face the ocean with nice views of the water. There are many smaller sites but also some larger ones to fit big rigs. We have a 38' and fitted in nicely with ocean views. The amenities are getting a bit old but they are clean. A dump site is located next to a small public toilet along the road leading to the upper level. The park mainly has grassed sites and is well maintained overall. The management are very nice and the office hours are from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm every day. They have a supply of basic food items, ice creams, drinks and fishing gear. TV reception is on the borderline but cable connections are on the power supply poles. Cables can be obtained from the office. However they can be in short supply when the park is full. A general store & fuel pumps are about 20 minute walking distance away (5 minute drive)

Lovely Caravan Park. Nice staff. Great camp kitchen. Water views. It’s a wonderful spot for fishing just a quick walk across road & your on the jetty. Pub at the top of hill. Nice flat walking paths.
