McGowan Island Camping Ground is located at the end of the Kalumburu Rd via the Gibb River Rd, East Kimberley. Drive through Kalumburu, past the air strip and follow the signs. We are about 25klm past the air strip.


We are right on one of the best beaches in the East Kimberley, with fantastic fishing, oysters and crabbing within easy reach by dingy or off the rocks.
