Benwenerup Campground - Stokes National Park

National Park - Western Australia

Benwenerup Campground is nestled on the banks of Stokes Inlet beneath picturesque paperbark trees.

The campground has 14 sites of various sizes, all suitable for caravans (one is a large pull-through site, and three will accommodate several caravans in one shared area) allocated on a first come, first served basis. Campers need to register at a self-registration station and camping fees apply.

A ranger is based in the park year round and campground hosts are based at Benwenerup during the peak season.

The main entrance is from Stokes Inlet Road, which is gravel and provides easy access for two-wheel drive vehicles and large caravans. The remainder of the park is four-wheel drive only.

Strictly, no pets and no campfires at any time.

Camp hosts Tony & Lisa were helpful, kind and understanding after my tow vehicle "chucked it's toys out the cot". The Ranger Dave was extreemly understanding as well. A storm came through and the roads became impassable. This left Tony, Lisa and Dave looking after my caravan as I could not return to the camp ground for around 1 week. Thank you for your support, I appreciated it. The Camp is clean and tidy. I would recomend this camp.
