RV stops dont get better than this when it comes to being in town, caretakers were sensational, fabulous park like setting, flat ground with tons of room. We will be back and will make CMCA RV Parks a priority from now on, thank you to all involved.
Well what a great spot to take a breather , thankyou CMCA and volunteer custodians,
Park-like grounds, clean and safe , water ,dump point and rubbish bin and five days FREE ! !
Walk to Woolies or Coles or clubs and town centre. Wallerman Falls was worth the drive.
The 5 stars :
Safe,Water,Dump point,Clean and FREE ??
Love this place. Full of CMCA Members and Happy Hour is such a learning experience. So handy to Town.
What a gem 500 mtr walk to Main Street and public toilets. across the road to information centre.
We stayed for 5 days from 24th July. Custodians Peter and Sandi were welcoming and friendly. Between 5 and 10 rigs each night with enjoyable happy hour. Lovely park close to town and facilities . Our second CMCA RV Park having stayed at Railton in May.
Ingham RV Park is now open for 2016 the present Custodians , Bob and Jeanette are here for the month of April call in and stay a few nights and view Ingham.
This is a lovely park with plenty of space, grassy and cover area for happy hour. There are a couple of BBQ’s for meals, accessible water at two points and the dump point is easily accessible. I’ll stay here again.
Spent 5 relaxed days in late July. Great spot close to town plenty to see and do. between and 15 rigs each night. First time custodians Peter and Sandi friendly and helpful. Pleasant happy hour each evening.
We have been very interested in staying at this facility and what an excellent one it is GREAT work CMCA.
Fantastic spot for 2 night made most welcome good crowd for hsppy even had a bbq thanks
Custodians Susan and Gregory we're welcoming and Gregory helped me make my grey water tote to become self contained. Herbert River Men's Shed followed the CMCA instructions to make a grey water tank and got the process started for me. Big thanks to both the Men's Shed and Gregory and also Mitre 10 for getting my non-plumbing brain around the whole process and making it happen for me.
What an excellent place to stay when up North, and free too.
It is park-like, has dumpoint, water, rubbish skip. BBQ, and on site custodian. Very close to town and the Tyto wetlands and library, both of which we visited. Good phone & TV reception.
I was surprised that there were so few members using the site - heaps of room for rigs of all sizes.
Great place to stay had some good HH with fellow travelers
Close to town walking distance. Little road noise and plenty of room.Shady areas and also open areas for solar. Fish and chip shop around the corner really good value and worth the visit. Information center across the road and walking distance to visit the wet lands behind it. I would stay again in fact a top spot.....
Great park. Pity about the rain. Fabulous hosts. Plenty of room.
The CMCA Park at Ingham is now open for business, you just need to be a CMCA Member and be Self contained.
Great spot, so close to town and across the road from TYTO wetlands (well worth the visit).
Custodians Sandy and Dad were terrific.
Peter and Heather were care taking for a couple of weeks about two weeks ago. They are two of the loveliest people we've met in our travels anywhere. We wish them well.
Fantastic park with excellent custodians. Very RV friendly town too. Only caution on entry to park beware if back of MH or caravan is too low. Need to take a wide berth in and out of the gates. Otherwise very happy to recommend!!
Great place to stay, custodians Tony & Carol were friendly and helpful. There was a lot of members when we stayed and we had a nice happy hour with 30+ RVs. Close to shops, Tyto Wetlands, fantastic. Found Ingham a great interesting town and enjoyed our time there. Thank you CMCA.
Great facility and it's great to see the efforts and our fees being a big benefit to members.
Our 2nd visit to this CMCA park. Here for another 3 nights. Great location for Tyto & walking into town.
Opened officially the day we arrived. Just 3 of us in but very soon will be busy as the season takes off. Delightful place to stay and all you need within walking distance yet still quiet. I congratulate CMCA for this worthwhile initiative.
Great park close to town and TYTO wetlands.
Only issue was the attempted theft of my mountain bike and damage caused to the bike carrier. Apparently 3 other bikes had been stolen that same week.
What a great spot. A short walk to town. The current Custodian "Helen" is doing a great job on setting up the first CMCA RV Park. Weeds are being eradicated to the point after a good wet season i'am sure there will be very good grass cover over the whole park. The day after we left the resident Curlew had one hatched chick. See the photo of the proud mum. The park is full of bird life and with the plantings of natives around the park the bird life will only get better.
Great park, but in desperate need of a mow.
First time users and found the park excellent. Gregory the Custodian was courteous and helpful. The park is clean and tidy (I even saw Gregory picking up rubbish outside the fence on the roadside) We were surprised the park was not patronised more. Only about 12-15 RVs there over our two nights. Well done CMCA board.
