Mount Taylor Mountain Bike Tracks Camping Area (Boys Camp)

The Mount Taylor Mountain Bike Tracks are located at the Mount Taylor Picnic Area, 15 klms north of Bairnsdale. This Site is also known as Boys Camp.

There are three style of mountain bike tracks within the State forest, a Downhill track, All Mountain track and a Cross Country tracks.         

Bairnsdale is approx 275 klms east of Melbourne on the Princes Highway. To access the Mount Taylor Picnic Area from Bairnsdale, follow the signs to Wy Yung, and then head north along the Bullumwaal Rd. for approx 10km.  At the point where the bitumen turns to gravel, the picnic area can be accessed via the gravel road on your left. 

Camping is permitted at Mount Taylor Picnic Area. All camping sites must be at least 20 metres from waterways. 

Picnic facilities are available at Mount Taylor Picnic Area, including tables, bench seats, BBQ's, a fire pit and a toilet.
