Dajarra was once the largest trucking depot in the world. In it's heyday, the area trucked more cattle than Texas in the USA. Cattle was brought there from as far away as Western Australia to put them on the train at Dajarra. The old water tower is all that remains that was used for the steam locomotives.
You will find toilets and showers here. Make sure that you bring your own drinking water.
Overnighted at Dajara July 21. Plenty of room. New toilet and shower block. Toilets as you would expect for a remote town. Did not use showers. Pub and Roadhouse are all that is in town. Old Post Office has a lot of memorability for a donation on entry. To support these towns is important for their viability. We did and would encourage others to do this also.
Hot showers and toilets available however they are not maintained.
Please pay money to the Dajarra hotel they give it to the RFDS
Stoped at this campground for morning tea, could not use toilets, they were that filthy. Could not recommend this facility
Very dirty toilets and showers, no power, no hot water. Does not look like anyone looks after camping area at all. All OK years ago when I was here.
