Designated Camping sites are available for short-term use (14 Days) at a fee of $10 per day. An honour system is in operation whereby the fee is deposited in a secure repository at the toilet block and a ticket is collected and displayed in the vehicle windscreen. Policing of the area occurs to determine compliance and to remind those who may not have made payment to do so and also to check to ensure the 14 day time limit is observed.
Showers are $2 per three minutes. Payment for the charge, can only be paid by card.

Lovely area overlooking the water. Nice clean facilities, only cold shower, at the moment. Can be windy. Dump point close.

We moved on to Fitzgerald Bay as it was very windy here but good facilities. Showers are cold which might be good in hotter weather.

Site was a hard stand and was excellent when we were there. The site is fairly exposed to weather and wind if conditions are bad. There are no shopping facilities at all and nearest town was Whyalla a fair drive if you ran out of supplies. Very pleasant spot with seal and marine life playing close to the rock walls.
