This camping area is located on the freshwater Wooroonook Lake. It is popular for waterskiing, boating, swimming and fishing. They offer powered and unpowered sites with toilets available. There is a children's playground and jetty & boat ramp. Payment is made via an honesty box. Fees in 2021 were $15 per night for powered site or $5 per night for unpowered site.

This has been a beautiful surprise camping ground. A ski and fishing lake with magnificent facilities, including hot water. The donations requested for powered and unpowered sites are directed to keeping water in the lake and maintaining the foreshore area. Also a donation to use the boat ramp. Peaceful even though beside the road. Highly recommend the council for providing this location.

in 2020 the fees are still $15 powered, $5 unpowered. The best and cleanest toilets and showers I've seen in a long time. plenty of bird life. Great spot.

Although I did not stay I was surprised to see powered sites available. There is a new amenities block and area is quite large and right on the lake.
