Dicky Beach Family Holiday Park

Caravan Park - Queensland

Fancy direct access to one of the Sunshine Coast’s most spectacular beaches? Dicky Beach Holiday Park is located on the beachfront at Caloundra's Dicky Beach and has a variety of accommodation, ranging from camping to caravans as well as studio units. Enjoy the swimming pool, full size tennis court, children’s playground, BBQs and the recreation room or visit the surrounding Caloundra beaches - Kings Beach, Bullock Beach and Golden Beach. There is fabulous fishing and a number of bike paths to explore the area. Visit the Dicky Beach Surf Club for a meal or enjoy the many restaurants in the area. Dicky Beach Family Holiday Park provides you with a relaxed family atmosphere and with so much to do; you’ll want to come back again and again.

Deceiving from the entrance, Dicky Beach is a large spacious park with plenty of room for all types of campers including private areas for large groups. There are powered sites with concrete slabs for your annex of which 12 have prime spot right on the waterfront. There is a private path which takes park guests straight down to patrolled beaches plus access to the many walking tracks along the foreshore. The powered tent sites are ideal for groups travelling together and are located near a very large camp kitchen and amenities block. Finally set in the natural bush land at the far end of the park are unpowered tent sites. This quiet bush setting is serene and ideal for groups camping together.

We have stayed here many times in the past firstly with the camper trailer then the pop top caravan and now with the motorhome without kids. Very popular in school holidays. But ideal location on the beach. Shops and cafes and surf club and restaurants close by. Lots of bike paths. Basically you can ride all the way to Golden Beach south of Caloundra or north all the way to Point Cartwright. Facilities are a mix of new and old but very clean. We stopped for 9 nights this trip as we were visiting family and also attended the Caloundra music Festival over the long weekend.

Good location, clean amenities, unlevelled slabs, not too friendly staff members, NO DISCOUNT TO CMCA MEMBERS

Tripigy stayed here in August 2013 and can verify the amenities listed above. We really enjoyed it here and the view was great! It was an easy 2 minute walk to the surf club that serves up yummy meals and also directly across from the park, there is a small shopping strip with cafes, restaurants, takeaway, groceries, etc.
