This large campsite with separate bays is simply wonderful. Only a short distance from the beach and under the shade of peppermint trees make this a tranquil location. The road through the campsite is excellent. There are no shops, the nearest town is Denmark 21km away. You cannot make a booking, you just turn up there, it is busy during main holidays.

Lovely campground with plenty of shade and clean facilities, right on the beach. Hot water for showers is solar heated, so might run out if it's busy (no probs while we were there). The height limit (2.75m) is enforced with a height restriction bar on the way in. There are 2 lovely bays for volunteers (help as cleaners) on the way in which can take bigger vans, plus a gravel overflow area further out - but no shade in the overflow. At $17 a night it's well worthwhile so no surprise it gets busy in peak season. I didn't see a laundry but the other facilities are as described.
