Edgar Dam is one of three dams built to extend Lake Pedder's water storage capacity. This camp site is a true rugged experience, quite basic but you will be able to soak up all of the natural beauty surrounding you.
On unsealed road, just off Scotts Peak Road. Boat ramp, non-treated drinking water, toilets, picnic facilities, shelters, fireplace with wood supplied. Caravan access is available. No fees apply to Lake Edgar Campground. When you are at the site you may enjoy boating, fishing, and bush walks, or just sit back, relax and use the picnic area.
Lake Pedder is an operational hydropower water storage, which means that the water levels can change.
