This free overnight rest area is heavily used by truckers. It is a sealed strip right next to the highway with only a toilet and picnic table. Good if you're exhausted and need to stop.

Stayed last night. Use stop on east side. West is bitumen parking for trucks. As you would expect for a rest area, very basic, dirt parking, tables, long drop toilet. Plenty of internet/phone access. Quiet enough considering how close to highway. Would stay again.

Good overnight spot on unsealed section beside sealed truck bay. Limited TV reception. Single toilet well presented. Trucks and highway trafiic create no problems. A very convenient spot close to Broken Hill.
