This free camping area is grassy and is popular for fishing, boating and water sports. It's well known for it Golden Perch, Black Bream Jew Fish and the famous Murray Cod. There are powered and unpowered sites. You will need to pre-book the powered sites. Payment is made for unpowered sites via the honesty box.

It is a while ago since we were here overnight. The toilet and showers were quite good but the camping area up near the facility was fairly rough and uneven. The dam was very low and the area was barren. People were camping all over the place down in the dam area. We did not get too good an impression but it could be quite different in good seasons.
