Urbenville Forest Park

Private Campground - New South Wales

Located on the town’s boundary, it is an ideal base to explore the natural attractions and history of the area.

Parking is available for up to 96 hours with powered and non-powered sites available. Facilities include toilets, showers and woodfire barbeques, shaded seating and water. The cost is $10 per van per night, payable at the local newsagency/Post office ( 48 Urben St). Pets are permitted at the site on leads.

Surrounding Urbenville you will find many waterfalls and swimming holes, including the Tooloom Falls and Bean Creek Falls. Visitors can enjoy fishing, canoeing and fossicking, or exploring some of the interesting volcanic landforms close by.

Stayed for a few days in early November. Beautiful spot. Gets a bit boggy in some spots when it rains. Showers hot.

Stopped at this location mid week. However I was informed by the one and only camper that camp fees are no longer a concern as Forestry NSW has now taken control of the park. I was however informed that the toilets and showers were not presently operating. This over night stop would be suitable for a night or two and is close by to the small village of Urbenville.
