We spent Easter 2022 at this park with family and took three powered sites side by side. Expected it to be crowded but there was still quite a lot of space especially in the unpowered areas. The description of the park on here really does say it all and there is not much more you could add. Amazing park with amazing, friendly staff. Shopping in Murgon (ten minutes away) is all you would want in a small town however the IGA is one of the larger ones and has everything. I did note the fruit and veggies were exceptional. Gave it five stars.
Great place to stop for a night or week. At this time of the year chilly nights and lovely warm days. The parks has powered site and freedom sites. We chose the powered sites for the week. They are not to cramped but given the size of available land could have been bigger. The amenites are very well maintained and look great. They suggest boiling the water here as it is dam water that has been treated and filletered. On day 2 we bought some drinking water but I didn't think it was bad at all. They do a communal fireplace if you like that, and seems to be very popular. Great place to stay. There are some great freedom sites around the dam if your lucky. Great place would come again. They told me they no longer do CMCA discounts.
