Emerald Park Holiday Farm, located in the beautiful Jamieson Valley, will provide you with a unique holiday experience.
Imagine for a moment waking to the sounds of a kookaburra or the choralling of a magpie. Look out your window at the beauty of the mist rising from the mountains and the cows grazing in the field nearby.
Maybe take a stroll down a country road, or climb a rocky ridge to see just a little bit further. Later on enjoy a cool dip in the Jamieson River on a warm summer's day, or drop a line and try to catch that elusive fish! Explore the historic township of Jamieson with its 150 year old buildings.
As this is a working farm, you are invited to help feed the animals. Kids just love this part of their stay, as do the bigger kids!! Lots of fun to be had collecting eggs, feeding the ducks and chooks, brushing the ponies and feeding the sheep and cows some hay. Kids have loads of room to run and explore. Swimming in the Jamieson river is a must during the warmer months. Collect fire wood to make a campfire. Toast marshmallows and tell stories by the firelight and wonder at our majestic night skies.
Emerald Park Holiday Farm has four self-contained cottages, each able to sleep six people. Each cottage consists of a double bedroom with a queen size bed, complete with electric blanket, and a 2nd bedroom with two sets of bunks. Doonas, blankets, pillows, towels and linen are provided. A lounge and dining area are equipped with a TV, DVD player and reverse-cycle air conditioning. The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove, microwave and fridge-freezer. There is an outdoor playground for the kids and a BBQ area for your enjoyment.
