Wannon Crossing Campground - Central Grampians

National Park - Victoria


The campground is set in a forested area adjacent to the Wannon River, it has non-flush toilets, shared fireplaces and picnic tables. Fires may be lit only in the fireplaces provided. No drinking water is provided and a limited water supply is available for dish washing and sanitary requirements. 

Wannon Crossing Campground has seven sites. Site 7 is suitable for camper trailer or caravan. All other sites are for tent based camping only. Sites are suitable for large tents, with adjacent vehicle parking. Sites are unpowered and will accommodate up to six people and one vehicle. 

Fees no longer apply to this campground.  For all stays up until 30 June 2015 you will still need to book a campsite, but no fees will be charged.  After 1 July 2015, no bookings will be taken for campgrounds where fees do not apply.  Camping will be first in, first-served.

Wannon Crossing Campground is located in the southern Grampians, and is accessed via the Grampians Tourist Road which is sealed and suitable for all vehicles. The campground is in close proximity to Grampians Tourist Road.
