Habitat Noosa Everglades Ecocamp

Private Campground - Queensland

Located 25 minutes north of Noosa, habitatnoosa everglades ecocamp is Queensland’s most exciting eco-tourism product. Our much-loved camping ground on 65 acres of natural bushland (previously known as Elanda Point Education Centre & Adventure Park) has undergone extensive revitalisation to provide onsite cabin, camping, motorhome and glamping accommodation, along with renovated amenities.

Be the first to enjoy our new and refreshed facilities.

We recognise what a privilege it is to live and work in such a unique and pristine environment.

Significant environmental rehabilitation has occurred alongside our renovations.

Our new facilities and upgrades include:

  • regenerating native vegetation, swales for water drainage and removing fences that endanger native wildlife
  • improved amenities – new toilets and showers, a renovated camp-kitchen, facilities and onsite services have been introduced
  • group and education centre upgrades
  • CootharaBAR – bar and bistro serving all local fare
  • kiosk serving breakfast, snacks and First Batch coffee
  • two levels and styles of glamping accommodation
Really great spot. Lake is knee deep so good for younger kids. Good walking tracks. Staff great and heaps of room and great micro brew at the restaurant.

This is an excellent 'free range" place to stay. You can choose your own space, either in the open or in the trees. On the banks of Lake Cootharaba which is safe and shallow. Bring watercraft to enjoy the lake or just swim in the warm water. Plenty of bush walking and nature to observe. Yesterday there was plenty of room.
