Hogwash Bend

This free bush camping area is located on the banks of the Murray River.  There is a boat ramp located nearby to launch from and it's a good spot to do some fishing, kayaking, swimming or walking.  Photo buffs will love all the bird life here.  There are no facilities here so you will ned to be self sufficient.  It is popular and is busy in holiday periods and long weekends.  There is a dirt road to access this camping area.

Turn off Cadell Valley Road at GPS -34.072709, 139.838072 and follow unsealed road straight ahead to the camping area.

 From the Waikerie Visitor Information Centre proceed to the Roundabout and take the third exit onto McCoy Street.

Continue to the bottom Roundabout and take the second exit onto Peake Terrace.

Continue on this road roughly 16.8kms through Ramco.

Turn RIGHT onto Hogwash Road (this road is also the entrance to Caudo Vineyard Cellar Door).

Continue on this road for roughly 2.5kms (past Caudo Vineyard entrance) until you reach the river camping sites, walking trails, boat ramp, sandbar and refuse bin.
