A delightful country retreat well removed from main roads for absolute peace and quiet. The hall committee who runs these grounds welcomes you to say for free for up to 48 hours. Longer stays can be arranged, fees then involved, by phoning Sandie 07 41576750.
The site has a public toilet block and children play area and basic facilities. You need to be self contained with water and rubbish removal. Site is available for group bookings which are ideal for caravan and motorhome clubs etc where additional facilities can be made available.

We have camped here a couple of times over the years with a large group and it is an excellent country retreat to get away from it all. When heading north from Childers the turnoff is just north of the bridge across the Burnett River and is about 12k off the highway. The sports oval beside the hall is flat and can accommodate all sizes of vehicles. Would not recommend during heavy rains or if the Burnett River is in flood as there are numerous gullies on the road in which can flood and cut off access. The locals are very friendly.

Large open oval area to take all size rigs. Peaceful and quite with no highway noise. Only a short distance of Bruce Hwy from either north or south of Childers.
Must be fully self contained.
