North Head Camping Area offers unpowered camping sites in a bush setting. Excellent surfing and great fishing either on the beach or on the river. Close to the rockwall and Boat Ramp. It has toilets, water, cold showers and dogs are allowed.
North Head Camping Area is adjacent to the Moruya Airport, within walking distance to the Racecourse & Speedway.

Great spot to camp. Near beautiful beach and inlet. Has old cold shower and toilet block nearer to the inlet but good toilet block nearer to the entrance. Markets on every Saturday in Moruya along the water down from the Bridge.

Large council camp ground, some shade but flat open area as well. Just behind the Moruya airport car park, so a little noise, but it’s not very busy. Near both the beach and the river entrance, few camp areas can make this claim, fantastic spot. Some people obviously stay here a while, but we had no problems

The only plus this campsite has is it is adjacent to the beach. It is a squatters camp and at $12 per person per night with no real facilities it isn't value for money. The Council could do a lot with this park given it's position. We drove on to a caravan park with power, water and all amenities and with nice big grassy sites adjacent to the beach for $29 per van per night.
