Lake Paika Station is situated between Yanga and Mungo National Parks, is 20 minutes from the township of Balranald and 5 minutes from the historic Homebush Hotel.

Lake Paika Station offers unique accommodation on one of the most historic station in the Balranald district and is 17kms north of Balranald on the Ivanhoe Road.

Replace your alarm clock with the gentle sound of bird calls, bask in amazing sunsets that become star studded skies, and arise to clear sunrises signalling the start of your day!

The accommodation offers a large communal dining and kitchen area, fully self contained, with two electric stoves and two full size fridges. A large open fire warms the dining and kitchen area, there are also ceiling fans in all rooms (including bedrooms). There are two shared bathrooms, and five bedrooms, accommodating a total of ten people.  A Gas BBQ and Camp oven cooking fireplace are available for guest use. (BYO wood)  

  • All rooms are equipped with reverse cycle air conditioning.
  • All beds are fitted with electric blankets.

We also offer Caravan & Camping sites. You can choose between unpowered and powered sites.  Please note that when fire restrictions are in force NO camp fires are permitted.
